I don't have a lot to report on this week, although I'll blog about Christmas at some point. Anyway, to save me from getting bored I created a map on Google Maps that has some pins in it showing where a few significant places are. Top left is Bingham Academy; even more top left is Lemma's place which has been a focus of a lot of my blogging so far. The SIM HQ clinic which is my work place is right in the middle of the city; language school and our chosen church (the International Evangelical Church or IEC for short) are a bit further south. I put the Korean hospital (Myung Sung Christian Medical Center (yes the American way...)) in just to show you where I worked last time I was in Addis.

Next week we are at the SIM Spiritual Life Conference in Sodere all week -  2 1/2 hours drive south east. Check out the link to see where it is but don't be fooled by how posh it looks on the website- there is a hot spring but we've been warned to take our own bedding and towels...

You can expand this map to full page, drag it around, zoom it in and out, change the style to show satellite pictures etc etc. I just hope you get to see it in English and a western alphabet - when I tested this on Chris's lap top it was half in Ethiopian script (Fidel) and looked really weird.
